Meet the Boards

I built two distinct boards β€” one for strategy and one for marketing β€” because the questions I face in each domain require fundamentally different expertise. Each advisor was chosen for the depth of their publicly available frameworks, not just their reputation.

Strategic Advisory Board

I created my Strategic Advisory Board to help me navigate the intersection of AI ethics, B2B positioning, and the long game of building Hartfull IQ as a consulting practice. I needed people who could hold the intellectual rigor my work demands β€” advisors who would push back on my frameworks, not just validate them. Reid Hoffman facilitates and keeps me from thinking too small. April Dunford keeps my positioning honest. Kate Crawford and Daron Acemoglu make sure every claim I make about AI and labor can survive scrutiny. Chris Do and Ann Handley cover the commercial and content layers. Together they represent the full arc of what I'm building.

Marketing Advisory Board

I created my Marketing Advisory Board to build the revenue engine for Hartfull IQ β€” from offer design through funnel architecture through going viral. These are the people whose frameworks I've studied most closely and whose thinking has directly shaped how I price, position, and promote my work. Russell Brunson facilitates and makes sure everything connects into a system. Hormozi keeps me honest about whether my offers are actually irresistible. Donald Miller stops me from making myself the hero of my own story. Cialdini provides the psychological layer. GaryVee tells me where attention is underpriced. Brendon Burchard helps me see the long game of building an expert brand. Dan Koe covers Phase 1 β€” building before I have a full client roster.

Build your own AI Advisory Board

Your board should be built around your life, your business, and your blind spots β€” not mine. Here's the workflow:

  1. 1
Prompt Claude or ChatGPT to suggest your advisors

Tell it about yourself, your business, and the 3-5 domains where you need guidance. Ask it to recommend 5-6 real advisors with published frameworks who have extensive content online. The AI's training data is your research assistant.

    Try this prompt:

Based on what you know about me and my work, suggest 5-6 real advisors for my [strategic / marketing / creative] advisory board. I need people with named frameworks, published books or extensive public content, and deep expertise in [your key domains]. For each advisor, tell me: their primary framework, what role they'd play on my board, and why their thinking is specifically relevant to my situation.

  2. 2
Have Claude research each advisor and write the SKILL.md

You do not need to do this research yourself. For each advisor, give Claude a single prompt asking it to search their YouTube channel, podcast interviews, books, and published frameworks β€” then write the full SKILL.md file for you. Claude will find their actual named frameworks and ground the skill in their real documented thinking.

Research + build prompt (one per advisor):

Research [ADVISOR NAME] using web search β€” find their YouTube channel, key podcast appearances, primary book(s), and any named frameworks they've documented. Then write a complete SKILL.md file for them as an advisor for someone in [YOUR CONTEXT]. Include their named frameworks with clear explanations, their communication style, what they push back on, how their thinking applies to my situation, and 5-6 trigger phrases. Ground this in their actual published thinking, not generic summaries.

  3. 3
Write a SKILL.md file for each advisor

Use the template below. Fill in their frameworks, communication style, what they push back on, and β€” most importantly β€” how their thinking applies specifically to your situation.

  4. 4
    Install and invoke

Install location depends on your platform β€” Claude CoWork, Claude Code, and Manus each have a different path and invocation method. The full guide walks you through all three.
